My name is Mia Booker, and I’m a US-based character designer and concept artist who collaborates with storytellers and developers in the Gaming industry. I pride myself on my playful creativity and freedom to be who I am while supporting others. When folks struggle with creating visual concepts to tell their story, I offer various design explorations, VFX posing/effects, and other visual assets through collaborative, iterative development. All the while, I keep myself open to learning from others and sharing my own experiences. I prioritize learning experiences and make sure I’m either someone who has the most to learn in the room or the person who has the most to teach.

Accomplishments in recent years, my talent has been hand-picked in program selections for the WIA Mentorship Program - Diving into Design (2021), the Black n' Animated x Netflix Foundation Program (2022), the Women in Gaming International Mentorship Program (2023), and the WIA Mentorship Program - Breaking into the Gaming Industry (2023).
